  Description: Converting an existing timber barn into a low energy home.
  The scheme is: Super insulated, highly airtight, designed to take advantage of passive solar gains in the winter, uses stack ventilation for cooling in the summer, uses a whole house heat recovery system for ventilation, generates hot water with solar thermal panels and is heated with a wood pellet boiler.
